Make Time is a full-day retreat allowing you to leave the distractions of daily life behind, and focus intentional time toward the endeavors that make you shine. Make Time is a space where individuals can get quiet, experience a new view, press the reset button, and carve out precious time for what matters most.
Make Time is not a workshop or a class. Make Time holds the space for you to be present in a way that is meaningful for you and your self-directed projects. We provide the beautiful, distraction-free location. You provide yourself, your supplies, and your project. (Be it a Ph.D. dissertation, a nap, a book to read, or an album to write.) Make Time is your permission slip to dive deeply into your own work and your own world.
EVERYONE deserves the opportunity to create space for exploration and retreat, and cost shouldn't be a barrier. Make Time is supported through your sliding-scale donations.
Make Time arrives the second Sunday of every month from 10am - 4pm*. Summer Make Time is always on the farm. Our winter home is the Arts + Literature Lab in Madison. Bring your project supplies & a potluck dish to pass. You can always find the most up-to-date "event" details on the Make Time Facebook page.
*Full day too much? Come or go around 12:30 when we dine!
I would LOVE to see a network of Make Time Gatherings spring up across the country (or the GLOBE)! If the Make Time idea resonates with you, if you wish you had a Make Time hosted near you, or if you have a space to host a Make Time and want to get started please drop me a note. It would be great to work together to bring Make Time to more people.
